I've seen plenty of 5.3 YJ's with 4L80E's. Its an expensive swap for sure. You could also find a 6 cylinder and swap in the automatic from that. Have to think about plenty of extras like a computer, dash, shifter, pedals, ETC... Its been done with plenty of TJ's.
