Fluid going through obstacle blender
WebObstacle is now effector. Thanks! I’m looking under the effector tab and the only options are “collisions” and “guide”. Which one do I select for the object to be an obstacle? I’m attempting to fill the object with a fluid but it just makes contact and goes off to the side. WebFeb 12, 2024 · 2 Answers. It's the normals. You need to select your ice cube, go into edit mode, select all vertices, and choose Mesh-->Normals-->Recalculate Outside. The sim then sims as it should. The container looks like it's doubled-walled, and is probably too thin for the fluid collision detection to work with.
