WebI don't know if I am missing a spring on for the carb or not. Some photos I've seen while looking for a fix have a cable that runs to the lever above the carb. My Murray 40542D riding mower does not have an extra cable. And I don't see where the other end of a spring would be attached. Just looking for a way to stop the over-revving at idle.
