WebHuman factors psychology (or ergonomics, a term that is favored in Europe) is the third subject area within industrial and organizational psychology. This field is concerned with the integration of the human-machine interface in the workplace, through design, and specifically with researching and designing machines that fit human requirements. Webpressured and often unpredictable specialty and, because of these human factors and the working environment, CTG interpretation errors occur. We believe that the solution to reducing errors is 2-fold; a) increasing use of Human Factors sciences and b) Improving understanding of the fetal physiology that underpins CTG appearances.
