WebbI hate it and it takes me out of my immersion. I'm currently using a 3090 in tandem with a LG C1 with Gsync enabled as well as Fast Sync via HDMI 2.1. My understanding was Fast Sync gets rid of tearing when you have excess frames and Gysnc takes care of tearing when frame rate drops below the refresh rate. WebbGsync is supposed to be a superior option for reducing tearing with a minimal impact on latency because it uses FPGAs. Like gsync is an actual hardware implementation that supplements the DP spec, with a patent and integration into OEM designs.
