WebMay 1, 2014 · Our structural observations show that the Manning Orocline is expressed by the curvature of the regional slaty cleavage (S 1) within accretionary wedge rocks in the inner arc area of the orocline. S 1 is axial planar to isoclinal folds, indicating an axial plane cleavage origin. WebThe specific point at 18° S where the coastline bends is known as the Arica Elbow.
